Some of the most common solutions are staying in a different area of the house, finding a café or office to work from, or working with your contractor to find a schedule that works for everyone.⁣

2. 𝐒𝐄𝐓 𝐀 𝐁𝐔𝐃𝐆𝐄𝐓. Your renovation budget should include the costs for materials, labor, decorative finishes, and building permits. Reserve a portion for unexpected costs (at least 10% as a rule of thumb). Now it’s time to request estimates from contractors! If the proposals you receive are higher than your budget, consider eliminating project elements that are a lower priority, or find a contractor that offers financing.⁣
