How do you choose?

 ⁣
Before starting a flooring project, you need to decide what type of flooring you want. Some of the factors to consider are:⁣

  • Budget⁣
  • Location⁣
  • Maintenance⁣
  • Look and feel⁣

These are just SOME of the questions to ask yourself beforehand. To make your research a little easier, we’re going to discuss 3 of the most popular types of flooring for homes in South Florida! ⁣
 ⁣
1. Hardwood: Solid wood has been a popular choice for decades. It looks great in a variety of different home styles, easy to clean, and long-lasting. However, they don’t stand up well to rough handling or moisture. They’re best for living rooms and dining rooms, not bathrooms or kitchens.⁣
 ⁣
2. Tile: Porcelain tile comes in many colors and shapes, making it a very popular and versatile choice! It is also very durable, easy to clean, and resistant to scratches and moisture. One of the hardest things may be maintaining the grout lines, but with proper maintenance and sealing, it is nothing to be too concerned about. Since there are so many tile choices, there are plenty of cost-effective options.⁣
 ⁣
3. Luxury Vinyl Tile: In recent years, LVT has become a very popular choice in floor renovations. It is a flexible material that is comfortable to walk on, inexpensive, and durable. Like tile, it comes in a wide range of colors and patterns. However, it can also vary in quality and might not do well in the sunlight if you don’t pick a UV-resistant type.⁣
 ⁣
These options are some of the most popular choices, but they’re not the only ones. Call or email us today if you’re interested in new flooring!

For this Broward demolition project we needed to remove about 3500 sq ft of concrete (5″ deep). For the corners and edges we used a concrete cutter to cut the concrete into smaller squares and them remove them using a skid-steer (forklift).
